"2B or not 2B" and "Castle Royal"

On 19th, 20th and 21st February at The Godric Hall, Goodrich the company presented two one-act plays, "2B or not 2B" and "Castle Royal" by Bill Tordoff. Each of the plays has a cast of twenty-nine so every one of the groups available members took part inm both plays. Whilst the plays probably owe more to Mother Goose than to Hamlet they are a fine vehicle for a large group of young players to learn the disciplines of team work and ensemble performance. Whole sections of both plays call for unison speaking where confidence and accuracy are paramount and correct stage positions and grouping vital. In performance the young people showed considerable skill and discipline and were enthusiastically apprecated by sizeable audiences.
