The Production
GOODRICH VILLAGE HALL 18th - 20th FEBRUARY 2010
The Youth Company's February production sufferred in the coldest winter we've known for thirty years! Not only did we miss rehearsal time but even the first night of our short run at Goodrich had to be cancelled when around six inches of snow fell in a couple of hours on the Thursday of our workshop. Nevertheless we managed to put i two performances on the Friday and Saturday evenings which were well attended and went without hitch. Twenty two young actors were delighted and releived to be able to place their work before a most appreciative audience.
It was originally planned that we should make Rabbit our entry to the Herefordshire County Drama Festival but the festival committee asked that we put both plays into the competition. This places something of an additional strain on these young actors some of whom will be required to play four charcters in two plays in a single evening. This group of youngsters seem undaunted by such a prospect and eagerly look forward to the experience. Oh the fearlessness of youth!
