Our Next Production
GOING STRAIGHT
by Richard Harris

Bare Bones spring production will be “Going Straight” by Richard Harris.
When one time London gangster Michael, invites his old associate Ray to spend a week at his luxurious Spanish villa, Ray's wife Brenda smells a rat. Why would Michael make such a gesture when he hasn't been in contact for more than two years? Ray on the other hand trusts his old gangland boss implicitly, adhering to his pledge of loyalty within 'the firm'. Only when a young female film researcher is invited by Michael to join them for the day, does Ray begin to understand Brenda's misgivings. Who is this woman? Is she really a researcher? Perhaps Michael has become too trusting.
In addition to his stage triumphs with Stepping Out and Outside Edge, Richard Harris is a prolific contributer to television crime series such as The Sweeney and A Touch of Frost. His ear for underworld dialogue is put to good use in this unusual piece of crime drama.
The play will be performed in seven different locations within Herefordshire throughout March/April 2012. Click the heading of this page for details of venues and dates.
Touring from 23rd March to 21st April 2012
