BARE BONES YOUTH WIN AWARD IN 2011 COUNTY FESTIVAL

Bare Bones Youth entered two plays into the 2011 Herefordshire County Festival. The plays fielded a cast of twenty-five young actors who performed both pieces on the opening night of the festival. The first play "Us and Them" by David Campton is a difficult but impressive short play illustrating mans eternal inability to co-exist without building walls or establishing borders and boundaries which inevitably lead to conflict. The second play "Titanic" by David Foxton chronicles the events surrounding the design and launching of that great liner and its tragic end amongst the iceberds of the North Atlantic on her maiden voyage.

For it's "talent, dedication and discipline" the adjudicator awarded the company the Kathleen Dade Memorial Trophy.
