The 2009 County Fes tival dates coincided with other production commitments preventing our youth section from competing in last year's festival. However, 2010 saw the group return to the competition with their two winter productions:' Rabbit' by David Foxton and 'You, Me and Mrs Jones' by Tony Horitz. 'Mrs Jones' fielded a cast of twenty-two and fifteen of that cast then appeared in 'Rabbit'. Both casts performed well and it was 'Rabbit' which took the Stennett Trophy as the best youth production in the festival.
Bare Bones Youth made a little bit of history by being the first youth team in the 71years of the Hereford County Drama Festival, to take first place and go on to compete in the Western Division Finals of the All England competition.
Both the senior and youth sections of Bare Bones celebrated Christmas 2007 with a party this year.
After two and a half years in existence the company feels the need to recruit more members to sustain the level of activity in its adult and youth sections.
A group of Bare Bones members and friends met at the magnificent Bishopswood House to celebrate in a Dickensian style.
