BareBones awarded Lottery Grant
BareBones Theatre Company success has brought its own problems. Growing audiences in flat floored village halls make it difficult for everyone to enjoy a clear view of the actors. This problem, which has engaged the efforts of the company in recent months, has now been solved. The ‘Awards For All’ scheme, which allocates lottery funding to community based groups, has granted sufficient money to the company to allow them to purchase portable staging. This will ensure a good audience view of all future productions.
The award certificate was presented by Hereford’s MP Paul Keetch.

The staging, produced by Panel Systems Limited, provides a raised acting area of 30 square metres. The carpetted stage surface is composed of fifteen 2metre x 1 metre insulated, aluminium bound boards supported on collapsible telescopic frames.
