The Production
This funny, moving and highly entertaining account of a period in the life of three Jewish American widows presented wonderful acting opportunities to four of our more mature actresses and one middle aged actor. The problem of touring a two set piece was overcome very simply by challenging our audience to excercise their collective imagination. They accepted the challenge without a murmur and the production was hailed a triumph! It's a delightful play in the Neil Simon style and offers that mix of humour and human insight that pleases most of the people, most of the time.
